Generation boundary
W204 ran roughly 2007–2014; W205 followed 2014–2021. They look related in photos but mounting points and lamp shapes differ.
Estate (S204/S205) and coupe variants add further SKUs — always match body style when listed.
Common mix-ups
Front bumper covers and fog lamp bezels ordered from “C-Class” listings without a W-code.
Headlights sold as “W204/W205 compatible” — treat that claim as unverified unless years match your car.
